Free Palestine — Palestine for Free? You’ll Pay Dearly

בלסטיין בחינם, רק היום !!!

There are slogans that, in just two words, manage to provoke both a smirk and a defensive reflex.
“Free Palestine” is exactly one of them.

You see it scrawled on placards from London to New York to Berlin — shouted by activists with British accents and cups of Earl Grey, or American ones sipping soy lattes. And every time I hear it, I can’t help but wonder: is this supposed to be a call for liberation — or a marketing campaign?
Like: “Palestine Free Today — Grab Yours!”

“Free” Is a Word Full of Problems

Let’s start with the semantics.
In English, “free” can mean either “liberated” or “at no cost.”
So if you take the slogan literally, maybe we’re looking at a special promotion:
“Take your Palestine — no charge! Free shipping worldwide!”

But, as always, the fine print ruins the fun. This “free” comes at a cost — the cost of a country, a civilization, a history, and seven million people who must be “freed” from life itself.

The Marketing Version vs. the Military Version

The Western “enlightened” version sounds like a tourism campaign: white beaches, fresh hummus, everyone holding hands.
In practice, in our region, the slogan translates to: “A long-term military effort to eliminate Israel.”

This isn’t about liberty in the sense of “let the child go play.”
It’s about “liberating” Jewish territory from Jews.

And let’s not delude ourselves — for Hamas, “Free Palestine” doesn’t mean a modern, pluralistic democracy. It means a Sharia state, morality police, green flags, and an RPG in every basement.
That’s not freedom — that’s a prison, just with religious branding and Iranian funding.

Free? Not Quite

Even if someone genuinely intended to give Palestine “for free,” it would never end that way. There’s always a price tag:

  • In blood — mostly Jewish, but also Arab, for anyone who dares defy Hamas.
  • In identity — because “Free Palestine” means Israel’s flag must burn daily as part of the school curriculum.
  • In geography — because a “free” Palestine turns into a terror base within rocket range of Europe.

History Has Seen This Movie Before

These kinds of slogans always sound noble — until you check the subtitles:

  • The Romans called it “subduing Judea” — it ended in exile and ruin.
  • The Germans called it “the Final Solution” — it ended in crematoria.
  • The Arab League called it “throw the Jews into the sea” — it ended in the Six-Day War and their own humiliation.

“Free Palestine” is simply the modern, Instagram-filtered version of the same ancient goal: a world without Jews here.

Western Hypocrisy on Parade

What’s truly amazing is how people in the West chant this slogan without grasping what it actually means.
It’s like holding a sign saying “Free ISIS” because someone told you they stand for social justice.

They don’t understand that in our region, “Free Palestine” means “Destroy Israel.”
If Israel were to launch a campaign called “Free Europe from Islamism,” we’d be condemned from the UN to TikTok.
But when the destruction is aimed at us — suddenly it’s called “freedom of expression.”

Israeli Cynicism — The Only Vaccine That Works

As an Israeli, every time I hear “Free Palestine,” I picture an empty shop window with a “Sold Out” sign.
Because nothing in life is free — not for us, and not for them.
And if anything were free, I’d suggest we start with “Free Gaza” — free from Hamas, from terror, from the absurd idea that annihilating us is a human right.

Our Response — Not in Slogans, But in Action

Slogans shout. Soldiers guard.
Our answer to “Free Palestine” shouldn’t be just panel debates or hashtags — it should be reality: control on the ground, secure borders, thriving communities, and an army strong enough to remind the world that “free” is not on the table.

Branding, Not Liberation

“Free Palestine” isn’t a call for freedom — it’s a branding campaign for the oldest form of hatred repackaged as empathy.
They just forgot to mention in the fine print that it’s funded by our blood, our land, and our patience.
And even if we wanted to give it “for free,” we couldn’t — because the Jewish homeland is not a product on a shelf. It’s our one and only home.

Not Free — And Not on Our Tab

So to the protesters chanting in London, Paris, or New York: understand this.
The Palestine you want “for free” will cost you dearly.
It won’t come without war. It won’t come without blood. And it may never come at all — because we’re here, from the Jordan to the sea, and we’re not going anywhere.

We are the people who remember exile, who still hold the key, and who learned that freedom isn’t granted — it’s defended.
So keep shouting, waving flags, and pretending you care.
We’ll keep living, building, and ensuring that on the only map that truly matters — the one guarded by IDF soldiers — “Free Palestine” remains exactly what it is: just a slogan. And nothing more.
