Javier Millay is a phenomenon: a combination of a political comedian and a capitalist economist who believes in the ideology of personal freedom but is not ashamed to choose sides in the international arena. In an era when many leaders prefer to stand on the fence against anti-Semitism, Millay chose to climb the fence with an Israeli flag in one hand and a chainsaw in the other.
Israel is not a perfect country. It is a living country – a country that thinks, fights, laughs, gets angry, unites, is torn apart – and moves on.

By October 2025, as we still stagger from the trauma of October 7, 2023, and face threats on all fronts — Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and even “friendly” neighbors – there emerges a phenomenon that feels like an autoimmune disease.
The Druze don’t need us to cheer them on Memorial Day or when a Druze officer falls in battle.
They need – like every citizen – to be treated with respect even when it’s unpleasant, even when there are no cameras, and even when there is a planning and building committee.
There are relationships that after a certain time stop being romantic and become a bit… suffocating.
You’re no longer sure if you’re in a relationship – or in foster care . . . and that’s more or less the situation between Israel and the United States.
Superpowers? We have them. Survivability? Plenty. Bizarre costumes? Every Friday morning in central Tel Aviv.
And who needs Marvel when you have the guy from the neighborhood who insists on fixing the air conditioner with flip-flops?
