As of June 2025, the Israeli prime minister, the man who in recent decades has made an entire career out of warning about a nuclear Iran, is the most beloved person in the markets of Isfahan. Residents take pictures with posters of him, they sell “Bibi-Rimon”-flavored sweets, and there’s even an Iranian band called “Likud Underground” that performs covers of his campaign songs in Persian.
